Emmy Lou

Emmy Lou. a two-year-old fawn female, came to NIPRA as an owner surrender.  Her family could no longer take care of her, and so she was placed in a foster home and put on the “adoptable Pugs” list. We spotted her picture and immediately fell in love with her.  When we inquired about her availability, we were told that she was still looking for her forever family and so we set the wheels in motion!

After we were interviewed, given a home visit and reference check, we were given the go ahead for adoption! Emmy Lou had a new home! Emmy Lou found her way into our hearts as soon as she came to our home.  She ran right up to me with love and “kisses”.  I melted.  Emmy Lou felt at home immediately and fits right in with our family.  She sleeps with my six-year-old child and has taken over my three-year-old child^s television chair!!  The whole family is enjoying having Emmy Lou in our lives just as much as Emmy Lou is loving her new life!

I could not have asked for nicer people than the ones I had met at Northern Illinois Pug Rescue.   Thank you for helping us find our perfect match with Emmy Lou!
